Viareggio the historical town in Versilia, is characterised by its liberty style buildings, numerous green public parks, and 10km of gold, sandy beach, 6km of which is devoted to bathing resorts. The well-known area of Viali a Mare with its "Passeggiata" (Promenade) is the town’s monumental area of greatest artistic value because of the quality and quantity of buildings of architectural interest, and its many elegant bars, restaurants and clothes stores which are open all year round, even at the weekend.

The never-ending beaches, the huge pinewood with its cycling paths, the spacious and completely pedestrianized Promenade make this locality unique compared to all the other locations in Versilia and perfectly suited to families with children. The apartment is situated along the famous Viali a Mare [Seaside Avenues].  It is a cool and bright apartment located in a prestigious private condo in one of the most elegant parts of Viareggio, just a few steps away from the beach.

The apartment has been furnished with care and has all mod cons: Wi-Fi internet, AC in all the rooms, small modern kitchen with dishwasher, terrace overlooking the pinewood and a large courtyard surrounded by liberty-style buildings. The Pineta di Ponente park is just 50 metres away from the apartment.  Inside the park, there are commercial and recreational venues, cycling paths, avenues and footpaths, sports facilities and numerous bicycle hire agencies. For people who dislike driving, Viareggio can be reached by train from Genoa, Pisa, and Florence.  Viareggio station is around 2km from the apartment. Some places of cultural and scenic interest worth visiting (by car) during your stay are: Pietrasanta, Sarzana, Pisa, Livorno, Lucca, and Cinque Terre in Liguria which can be reached by ferry during the summer months.
