ROME (2 nights) - GROSSETO - PISA - LA SPEZIA (1 night) - PORTOVENERE (GOLFO DEI POETI) CINQUE TERRE - LUCCA - MONTAPERTI (2 nights) - CHIANTI AREA
 
01 - DAY - ROME Transfer from the airport in Rome to the hotel. Rest of the day at your leisure. Dinner not included.
 
02 - DAY - ROME American buffet breakfast at the hotel. In the morning you will enjoy a 3-hour “Discovering Rome” walking tour. You will be picked up at your hotel at approximately 9.00am. The tour will start from Largo Argentina and continue on to Piazza Navona, the Pantheon, and the Trevi Fountain. The tour will end at the Spanish steps (no drop off at the Hotel). Rest of the day at leisure and overnight. Dinner not included. Meal: B.
 
03 - DAY -  ROME - GROSSETO - PISA - LA SPEZIA 7.00am Meet at Meeting point or pick up at the hotel from 6.30am. Meet your tour leader and start a delightful trip along the Tyrrhenian Coast. You will cross the Etruscan lands into the GROSSETO countryside, known as LA MAREMMA. This is one of the new areas of excellence in Italy's viticulture. Meandering through the Tuscan countryside you'll arrive at a beautiful local winery near the regional park and close to wonderful beaches. Experience the winemaking process up close, from the vineyards to the cellar, to the ageing of the wine. At the end of the visit, you can taste some of the wines of the region. Proceed along the coast until you reach PISA. Our tour leader will take you for a pleasant walk into the enchanting historical centre, visiting Piazza Dei Miracoli, with its famous Leaning Tower (exterior visit), The Baptistery (exterior visit) and other beautiful monuments. Proceed to LA SPEZIA. Dinner and overnight at the hotel. Meal: B D.
 
 
04 - DAY - LA SPEZIA - PORTOVENERE - GOLFO DEI POETI - CINQUE TERRE - LUCCA - MONTAPERTI After breakfast, depart by boat for an unforgettable day dedicated to discovering one of the most amazing and enchanting landscapes in the World: Cinque Terre. “CINQUE TERRE” is an area suspended between the sea and land, hanging from sheer cliffs, surrounded by hills and vineyards. You will enter into a little piece of heaven. By touring the coastline by boat, you will have the possibility of admiring this amazing landscape from the sea. (*In case of rough sea, the visit will be carried out partly by coach and partly by train.) During the tour, the boat will reach Porto Venere and the most important villages, where you can stop and visit them! Take pictures in PORTOVENERE, VERNAZZA, and MONTEROSSO, walk the narrow streets and immerse yourself in a colourful postcard! Arrive in La Spezia by train and from there take the bus to reach the region of Tuscany, with a stop en route in LUCCA. Walk the cobblestone streets, explore squares and old Renaissance walls. See the birthplace of local composer Giacomo Puccini. Admire the medieval buildings along Via Fillungo, peek inside the San Frediano church and visit landmarks such as the Cathedral of San Martino, Piazza Anfiteatro, and Torre Delle Ore. Finally, do not forget to taste a Buccellato cake! Proceed to Montaperti. Dinner and overnight at the hotel. Meals: B D.
 
05 - DAY - MONTAPERTI - RADDA IN CHIANTI - SAN GIMIGNANO - SIENA - CASTELNUOVO BERARDENGA - MONTAPERTI After breakfast at the hotel, depart to discover the Chianti Classico GALLO NERO region and admire one of the most iconic villages: RADDA IN CHIANTI. Visit the small town on your own, and then proceed by private coach to SAN GIMIGNANO, a tiny city that has remained intact through the centuries. Situated on a hilltop, it is famous for its towers, frescoes, and other art treasures. Once you have left San Gimignano you will make a stop in a farmhouse to enjoy wine tasting with typical snacks. Now it's time to move to SIENA, where you will visit the city centre. Walk along the medieval streets admiring the splendid palaces. The sightseeing tour will end in Piazza del Campo. This is one of the most beautiful squares in the world and the site of the famous 600-year-old horse-race, “Il Palio”. Before returning to the hotel you will stop in CASTEL NUOVO BERARDENGA for a special aperitif in a beautiful cellar. Dinner and overnight at the hotel. Meals: B D.
 
06 - DAY - MONTAPERTI - MONTEPULCIANO - PIENZA - ROME After breakfast, check out and depart to VAL D’ORCIA to complete the wine tour of Tuscany. Reach the hilltop town of MONTEPULCIANO, an ancient village rich in medieval and Renaissance buildings. It is famous for producing one of the oldest wines in Italy: “Nobile di Montepulciano”. Here you will visit a local wine cellar where you will taste some wine and local products such as ham, cheese, and salami. Proceed to PIENZA, the Renaissance town built under Pope Pius II, well-known for its pecorino cheese. At the end of the visit, you will return to Rome. Drop off guaranteed at the hotel. Meal: B. 
 
07 - DAY - ROME American buffet breakfast at the hotel. End of our services. Meal: B.
