No need to worry about getting lost in the remote countryside, looking for parking on a narrow cobbled street or even fitting your luggage into the small trunk. our Don't just dream of the Dolce Vita - come and live it, the organisers will take care of it all.  Your bags will be transported separately straight to your hotel. You will be the only guest allowed to leave your Ferrari just in front of reception (and not in the common parking lot) of Italy's most prestigious five-star luxury hotels.

8 Days of Fun....

 

DAY 1: WELCOME TO ROME, THE ETERNAL CITY You will be met at Rome Fiumicino International Airport and transferred by Mercedes S-Class to the splendid Hotel De Russie at Piazza del Popolo in the heart of Rome. A luxury five-star hotel located in the heart of the beautiful city of Rome between the Spanish Steps and Piazza del Popolo on the Via del Babuino. The hotel is within an easy walking distance of Rome’s key attractions, fashion houses and Via Condotti. Here you can take a rest before setting out on an initial tour of the wonders of the ‘Eternal City’. You may have the opportunity to explore some of its most beautiful sights, like the Colosseum, the Spanish Steps, the Trevi Fountain, the Vatican. Suggested dinner location and overnight.

 

DAY 2: LA DOLCE VITA IN ROME You have the choice of a guided tour of Rome’s most beautiful sights, the Spanish Steps, the Trevi Fountain and the Vatican or you are of course free to explore on your own. Visit the Ferrari store as well and capture the right mood for tomorrow’s encounter with the Prancing Horse! A private car and a guide will be at your complete disposal for 3 hours unique and innovative tour of Rome. Whether you require information on the ancient wonders of Rome or simply advice on where to find the finest shops, our staff is available to help you get the most out of your stay in this beautiful city. Suggested dinner location and overnight.

 

DAY 3: FERRARI SELF DRIVE FOLLOWING THE MILLE MIGLIA ROUTE Route: Civitavecchia Viterbo Bolsena San Casciano dei Bagni Morning · Transfer by private car from your hotel to Civitavecchia’s “Riva di Traiano” tourist harbour on the Roman coast. · Welcome aperitif in the exclusive Sporting Yacht Club followed by a dedicated Ferrari briefing, with your Ferrari scenically displayed in front of the yachts. Our private Tour Director, an expert Ferrari driver, will introduce our guests to the world of Ferrari; clarify the finer details of the controls, explain the differences between the various models (Ferrari 488 Spider, Ferrari California T, Ferrari 458 Speciale, Ferrari 458 Spider) and the engines (8-cylinder and new 8-cylinder turbo) and most importantly, give guidance on how to handle the F1 paddle-gear shifting behind the steering wheel. All luggage will be transported separately.

 

Departure by Ferrari for Bolsena After a short Ferrari practice-drive a pleasant drive along the panoramic and enchanting roads of the mythical Mille Miglia, passing Tarquinia, Viterbo, Bolsena, Acquapendente, Radicofani, etc. Our Tour Director will lead the way at the wheel of his powerful Alfa Romeo Giulia, enabling our guests to discover the picturesque and breathtaking panorama offered by the valley landscape, their enjoyment enriched by the experience of pure driving pleasure on an amazing succession of rolling hills and never-ending curves! During the whole journey, the Ferrari and the Tour Director’s car will be constantly in touch by a mobile radio system.

 

Afternoon Departure by Ferrari for San Casciano dei Bagni · Arrival at Fonteverde Tuscan Resort & Spa and check-in. A Medicean residence restored to its former beauty. The hotel offers rooms, richly decorated premises with terraces overlooking fields and verdant hills. A blend of Renaissance aura and present-day comfort in a hotel where luxury engenders relaxation. Spa & Relax: the mineral-rich, natural warm spring waters that emerge here have multiple therapeutic benefits. Take advantage of the thermal pool, the bioaquam® circuit (with its various hydromassages) or any other spa treatment offered by this highly reputable spa resort set in the midst of the rolling hills of the Val d’Orcia (southern Tuscany).

 

DAY 4: VAL D’ORCIA Route: San Casciano dei Bagni Pienza Montepulciano Montalcino San Casciano dei Bagni Morning Departure by Ferrari for a tour of the magnificent Val d’Orcia A day to revel in the spectacular panorama offered by this delightful Tuscan valley, known worldwide for its extensive vineyards. In his car, the Tour Director leads the tour through a succession of enchanting towns and villages, whose charming appeal encapsulates the very soul of the Val d’Orcia. The first stop is Pienza, Pope Pius’ II birthplace, located high on a hillside. Meant to be the ideal Renaissance town, Pienza comprises such beauties as a white stone cathedral, Palazzo Piccolomini with its fine courtyard, Palazzo Borgia, a graceful Piazza… The tour heads towards Montepulciano, an archetypical Tuscan mediaeval town built at the summit of a hill as well and surrounded by walls and fortifications. The place is famous for its Vino Nobile, one of Italy’s major red wines. Afternoon · The next stage is Montalcino, reached by meandering through the vineyards that provide grapes for the production of the famous Brunello. You will taste this top-class red wine at the estate of Biondi Santi (subject to availability) after visiting the cellar of this masterful wine producer. A visit to the historical centre of Montalcino with its fort and the churches of Sant’Agostino and Sant’Egidio is also a must.  Arrival at the Fonteverde Tuscan Resort & Spa. Time at disposal for Spa & Relax.

 

DAY 5: SIENA & FLORENCE Route: San Casciano dei Bagni Siena Florence Morning Departure by Ferrari for Siena, driving along one of the most scenic roads featured in the original itinerary of the Mille Miglia race Siena, an unspoiled mediaeval city, is the location of the famous Palio, a horse race around the city’s shell-shaped Piazza del Campo. Siena’s other historic gems from the Middle Ages include the Town Hall (Palazzo Pubblico) and the Torre dei Mangia (1340), which are similar in height to the Cathedral. · Free time to explore Siena.

 

Afternoon Departure by Ferrari for Florence Next milestones of the famous Mille Miglia: Monteriggioni, Poggibonsi, San Casciano Val di Pesa, Florence, passing through the famous Chianti region vineyards. Arrival and check-in at the Four Seasons Hotel Firenze. Accommodation in a Junior Suite. An enchanted city sanctuary in the midst of Florence, where an art-filled Renaissance palazzo and conventino frame a centuries-old private park. Relax amidst original frescoes and sculptured reliefs, graced by sunlight and airy garden vistas. Sip cappuccino under majestic trees, lounge by the open-air pool or bask in Italian spa secrets. Wonders of the Uffizi and Duomo are a stroll away. Tuscan hill towns beckon. Guided tour of the historical centre on foot (upon request).

 

DAY 6: PISA AND ARGENTARIO, ON THE TUSCAN COAST Route: Florence Pisa Porto Ercole Morning Early departure by Ferrari for Pisa, home of the renowned leaning tower and the Piazza dei Miracoli. Afternoon Departure by Ferrari towards Argentario, on the Tuscan coast and you will be staying at Il Pellicano. A magnificent retreat on the Tuscan coast, surrounded by centuries-old olive trees set in an extensive garden. The Argentario Peninsula is plenty of many beautiful spots to see in a short time: only 7 miles separate Cala Galera from the tiny island of Giannutri, home of thousands of seagulls, and only 13 miles away is the lively island of Giglio. For those who like to cruise « off-the-beaten tracks », the waters of the preserved marine area of the island of Montecristo are certainly worth a detour. Not to be missed the gourmet restaurant of the hotel, awarded since 2005 with 1 Michelin star.

 

DAY 7: ENJOYING THE TYRRHENIAN SEA Morning. Whole day at your disposal to enjoy the Italian coast, with a dip in the sea from the private beach, a swim in the indoor pool or a relaxing walk on the Tyrrhenian coast. On request: tour by private boat around the Argentario cape or to the nearby islands of Giglio and Giannutri.

 

DAY 8: ARRIVEDERCI ITALIA! An entire day devoted to taking it easy before you return home. · Just the right way to say goodbye to Italy before a private transfer by Mercedes S-Class takes you out to Rome Fiumicino International Airport for your return flight.
